Long-stay exemptions for short-term rental tax

Thresholds vary

Many US lodging taxes apply to stays of 30 days or less, so a stay of 31+ nights is exempt; others use 30 nights, 90 days, 180 days or other limits, and some require the guest to have a written lease. Check your jurisdiction's wording.

In Lodgetally

Set Exempt stays of at least N nights (default 31, matching "30 days or less" rules; 0 means no exemption). The whole reservation's nights are used, even if the platform split it into monthly rows. Exempt stays are still shown in gross receipts and in the exempt column, because many returns ask for them.
